Jeff will give his recommendations and considerations for upgrading to ASE16 SP02 along with a detailed look at specifics such as: the threaded kernel, optimizer controls and other system changes like PLC queue. The session will highlight which key areas of the server were modified as a focus area for upgrade testing plus areas that should be considered for deprecation in implementations such as des bind, exec with recompile. ASE sizing and configuration recommendations will also be discussed.
